Fence/Curtain 2.0

Fence/Curtain 2.0

Fence/Curtain 2.0 is a decorative barrier that gives the illusion of the curtain, valance, and the drape of the curtain in the at the Boston Center for the Arts, in Boston, MA.

It is made of monoprinted textures of different patterns of construction fencing, and handstamped and hand painted geometric shapes, on cotton fabric that is stiffened and water resistant.

Above is of the front, as seen from the street and sidewalk. Below is the back view of the "fence" and the fabric wrapped around the tree, from inside the garden during the Summer. Down further on the page are Autumn pictures of the wrapped tree, the plaza and garden, and a garden closeup.
