The Resilient Fences series is created using monoprinted the textures of construction fences, combined with handpainting, handstamping, collage, and stitching, on stiffened fabric created in 2019.

The title is a play on how resilient fences are as they hold up over time in various weather conditions, and how resilient I have been getting through quite a few difficult situations over my lifetime.

If you look closely at this fabric painting, you will see that she cut and reattached four sections, by stitching them back together, to change the size of some of the lines of stamped shapes to make them intentionally uneven.
